TELL ME A STORY

Greetings from rainy Manhattan
Fine weather for holiday tales read by their authors.
Here are three brilliant ones.

1.
"A Childs Christmas In Wales"
by Dylan Thomas
(21 minutes audio only)
The crackle of the record sounds quite like a fireplace

2.
"The Loudest Voice"
by Grace Paley
(13 minutes audio only)
If you have never heard or read Grace Paley or if you have, here she is reincarnate for thirteen and a half minutes of sheer delight with this priceless Christmas story to add to your holiday regulars.

3.
"The Ice Bear"
by Jackie Morris
(10 minutes with images)

(((Michelle))) may hope your festive celebrations be full of joy & wonder, it's xmas eve already here and there’s no mice, spiders, silverfish, fleas, ants or cockroaches stirring because we got the ecologically sound pest control man in at the beginning of December !

So happy for you it's a bug and vermin free Holiday Mo. It's the very early morning Sunday the 24th here. No bugs or vermin in sight, just dust balls and one elderly woman. Not a sound including traffic. 45 degrees with several windows open. Astounding.

Merry Christmas Michelle! Very quiet here too. Hoping that the forecast for snow here is right...
